A tale of two apples
some time ago I bought two apples
one I ate the same day
it tasted like cardboard (and not at all like an apple!)
The second one I put in my bag
not wanting to throw it away
because it’s food, right?
It’s been lying in my office for weeks now
growing older and older
while I’m waiting for it to rot
Today I finally put it in the trash
and got a new one immediately.
This is an analogy
which, by the way, is the reason why I haven’t been posting that much lately
